FOX opened its day at the Television Critics Association summer press tour with a flurry of announcements. The big stories include Glee casting two new actors for season 4 and American Idol's expansive new auditions strategy. But the network also revealed plans for another season of MasterChef, making its comedies available online and a new slate of high-profile actors lending their voices to animated shows.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

MasterChef Season 4

FOX is heading back to the kitchen next summer as Gordon Ramsay's second reality cooking competition, MasterChef, has been renewed for season 4. The show is currently in season 3, though after this week it will take two weeks off due to the Olympics.

Comedy Online

Continuing the popular trend of debuting new shows online before they air on TV, FOX will offer a two week sneak peek at its new comedies Ben and Kate and The Mindy Project starting Monday, August 27. The pilot episodes of both shows will be available on FOX.com, Hulu and many other online platforms. Both shows premiere on FOX Tuesday, September 25.

FOX is also teaming with Yahoo to stream the entire first season of New Girl during August. Starting Monday, July 30, six episodes of the first season will stream each week at tv.yahoo.com. New Girl will anchor Tuesday nights this fall starting September 25 with new episodes at 8pm and 9pm.
