Jennifer Coolidge was known as Bobbie Morganstern on the sitcom Joey. As Joey Tribbiani’s promiscuous agent, she was perceived as aggressive and slightly ditsy, laughing at anyone’s expense, including her clients’. She also had a huge crush on Joey’s nephew Michael. More often than not, she entertained herself by shocking herself with a stun gun and by making her office assistant do funny tricks.

Following Joey, Jennifer Coolidge was cast in the comedy For Your Consideration as Whitney Taylor Brown. In line with this, she won a Gotham Award, which she shared with the film’s ensemble cast. Most recently, she was featured in another comedy called Epic Movie. Directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the film included Kal Penn, Adam Campbell, Jayma Mays, and Faune Chambers.

Although Joey got canceled, Jennifer Coolidge remains in the TV loop. She has been cast as Jackie Holloway on the ABC pilot Family of the Year. The show features a well-respected family and their struggle to live up to their glamorous reputation in a small town in New Mexico. The cast also includes Alan Ruck as Dick Holloway, Dina Waters as Barbara Anderson, and Robert Vaughn as Monty Holloway.

In the big screen, she will star as Lida in comedy Barry Munday. Directed Chris D'Arienzo, the said film follows the life of the titular character as he realizes that he’s missing his family jewels after being attacked by his irate father. To make things worst, he discovers that he’s facing a paternity lawsuit filed by a woman he can’t remember having sex with.

Next, she will provide the voice of Jaclyn in the computer-animated film Igor. Slated for release on October 24, 2008, the plot revolves around Igor and his aspirations of winning first place at the annual Evil Science Fair. The star-studded cast also includes John Cusack as Igor, Jeremy Piven as Dr. Shadenfreude, and Jay Leno as King Malbert.
