The post-apocalyptic CBS drama Jericho has been wowing fans since it returned for a second season.  With only a total of seven episodes set to air, the series has been forced to ramp up the action and move things along at a breakneck pace.  The most recent episode of the series left viewers rocked by the unexpected death of Bonnie Richmond (Shoshannah Stern), who was gunned down while defending her home.  Now we have some spoilers for fans who want to know what to expect in the final three episodes of the season.

E!Online's TV guru Kristen had a chance to speak with Esai Morales, who plays Major Beck on the series. He had a few things to say about his flirtation with Heather, and also teased that fans can soon see him butt heads with Jake (Skeet Ulrich).

"There is chemistry between [Major Beck] and Heather (Sprague Grayden)," Morales admitted, "and it doesn't have to be consummated for it to feel real.  Eventually, there's a situation where he feels betrayed, and he feels like a fool, and he has to come to grips with what happened and realize what she's all about.  Is she there to help him, is she a Mata Hari, or is she a true patriot for the cause?  The thing is, he has to make up his mind about what cause he is going to follow."

Aside from the complications in Major Beck's love life, viewers can also expect to see him bringing Jake some pain.  "The insurrection is a slap in the face to the major because of what he did for Jake.  He entrusted him to be the sheriff, and he turns around and finds out that all is not well.  So, I have to become a bit of a Guantánamo. . .well, there are enhanced interrogation techniques."

Enhanced interrogation techniques?  Whatever that means, it certainly doesn't sound pretty.  It's unknown at this point whether Jericho will be picked up for additional episodes beyond the seven already completed, so viewers should be aware that these final three may act as the end of the series.
