Eric Green Born on November 25, 1974 in Toronto, Ontario, Kenneth Alexander Mitchell was educated at University of Guelph where he studied landscape architecture and played for the school soccer team as a striker. He later discovered his love for acting after working at Kilcoo Camp in Minden, Ontario. There, he first entered as a camper but eventually he graduated to camp instructor and counselor.
"That was a big part of my life," Kenneth Mitchell said in talking about his experience in the camp. "It taught me many things about people, friendships, love of the environment, learning to laugh and cry, learning to appreciate people, love and dance."
The camp hosted his first experience in acting, and this was very special to him. However, he knew that he must have a fallback, thus he educated himself before pursuing an acting career. Upon graduation, he worked at the landscape architecture department of ESG International Inc. While working there, he began appearing on television commercials and was eventually moved to ESG's Toronto office. While at Toronto, he worked with acting coach David Rotenberg, who helped him hone his talent in acting.

His later television credits include
Grey's Anatomy ,
CSI: Miami ,
The Unit and Jericho.
In talking about his love for acting, Mitchell said, “I love the feeling I get performing for people. I love to provoke emotions in myself and have an outlet for my emotions. I love to see people laugh and cry.”
