Jericho: Second Jerichon to be Held in the Summer
CBS’ Jericho is set to return with its second season next month, but fans of the show have something else to look forward to this year, with the second Jerichon scheduled to take place in May.

Jerichon is a product of a Kansas-based non-profit organization called Guardians of Jericho.  The group, although not officially affiliated with the network or the show’s other production companies, are “committed to the development of the fan community” of the series.  The first Jerichon was held last year in Oakley, Kansas, on September 14, 15 and 16.

This year’s Jerichon will be held in the same location on May 23, 24, 25 and 26.  Ticket prices vary, with one-day admission tickets going for $20 and two-day admission tickets going for $30.  Those who are planning to attend the full convention can save money by pre-registering.  Attendees who pre-register will only have to pay $60 for the full convention, $10 less than at-the-door attendees.   The prices for the full convention include a complimentary membership to Guardians of Jericho.

Although Jericho cast members have yet to confirm their attendance at the event, Guardians of Jericho announced recently that show set dresser Michael Loomer, who is frequent contributor to the show’s official production blog The Salty Scoop, will be on hand to share his experiences of working with the Jericho team.

As with last year, BlogTalkRadio’s Shaunomac will be broadcasting live from the convention.  Other sponsors have yet to be announced, although last year’s included Midwest Energy.

In other Jericho news, the first three episodes of the show’s second season have apparently been leaked to various torrent sites on the web.  Many of the show’s fan sites (including Jericho Rally Point, a website linked on CBS and for which Guardians of Jericho board member Morgan writes blog entries) have warned against posting links to the torrent sites containing the leaked episodes, as well as discussing the episodes on the forums.
