Brad Beyer as Stanley Richmond
Stanley Richmond is played by Brad Beyer in the series,
Jericho. At the age of 18, Stanley lost his parents, thus leaving his deaf younger sister, Bonnie to his care. He also was left in charge of their family farm in the town of Jericho, Kansas. He is a good friend of the town mayor's son, Jake Green, who visited the farm shortly upon his return to Jericho. A day before his visit, IRS agent Mimi Clark had audited the farm and discovered that the family owed thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes. The following day, a nuclear attack occurred and Stanley immediately left the house to check on his livestock first thing the next day. However, while he was away, Emily Sullivan, another town native, had unwittingly led two escaped prisoners into the farm.
The escaped convicts got hold of Bonnie and held her hostage, but it wasn't long until Jake came to the rescue, shooting one of the convicts dead. A storm quickly brewed and threatened to pour a fallout-laden rainfall, thus everyone had to take refuge in the farmhouse's storm cellar.
After the storm passed, Stanley feared that he was contaminated by the radioactive poison, and April Green, a nurse from the town medical center, advised him to drink a dose of iodine. After a while, it was discovered that he was perfectly fine.
Stanley proved to be of great assistance to Jake as he helped his friend in his efforts of helping the townspeople move on from the devastating events that occurred.
Stanley again encountered Mimi in the hospital as she was in an examination room. She feared that she was contaminated by radioactive poison, as she admitted having dipped her fingers in a puddle of nuclear ash and rainwater. Stanley disproved her and assured her that she would be alright, despite the fact that she infused hardship in his life. Realizing that she was stuck in Jericho after the unfortunate events, Stanley agreed to take Mimi in and care for her, in return for her help in the farm. This led to the two developing a close relationship, which was highlighted by a kiss they shared on Thanksgiving morning.
