fans all over the world relish the opportunity to witness the reunion where cast members are forced to own up to their mistakes they've made over the past season. Well, maybe I'm just speaking for myself. Here are my top 10 moments from part one of The Real Housewives of New Jersey
season 5 reunion:
10. Get Behind Tre
All of Teresa Giudice's fellow cast members are surprised to hear that Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice, are being indicted on 39 counts of fraud. Before the night gets nasty, Teresa makes sure to thank all of the ladies for their support, even her archenemy, Melissa. 9. Kathy Who?
Jacqueline pretended to be filing her nails and yawning while Andy plays back the film clips of Kathy from the season. It's weird that Jacqueline knows exactly how the rest of America was also reacting to seeing that Kathy is still on this show. 8. Woman in the Mirror
Melissa denies that she and Teresa are constantly butting heads because they're a lot alike. She says that on the inside, they are both very different. That's why they are both fighting over the love of the same man as they each try to outshine each other on a reality TV show. No, they're nothing alike. 7. Turn Your Head the Other Way
Caroline has very little to do with the reunion, thank goodness, but she wants to make sure to clarify some comments she made about her husband's faithfulness in their marriage. She says she'd be a fool to think that her husband of 30+ years had never cheated on her. But don't get it twisted
. She's not saying her husband ever cheated on her. At least he's never admitted to cheating on her. But if he had, it wouldn't matter. But he didn't. Thanks for the clarification, Caroline. 6. Be Trusting
On the other side of the aisle, Teresa is 100% certain that her husband has never cheated on her. Despite all of the rumors. And that phone call in the vineyard from last season. It seems like the "Is your husband a cheater?" argument should lie somewhere in between Teresa's philosophy and Caroline's philosophy. 5. Not a Homophobic Homophobe
You know how Joe Giudice isn't a homophobe? He and Teresa are friends with a gay couple and the gay "man" hangs out with the husbands and the gay "woman" hangs out with the wives. His ignorance truly knows no bounds. 4. Touchy-Feely Rosie
Rosie tries to prove that all of the touching happening in their family isn't strange at all by groping Joe Gorga's crotch. Ummm ... yeah, that's gross. And definitely not normal.

3. Extra Extra
Melissa and Teresa both explain the rumors spread by some of the trouble-making extras that appeared this season. Melissa's ex-bestie Jan and Twitter gossip Penny were only doing it because they were looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Melissa claims that Jan only spread the cheating rumors because Melissa didn't go to her salon on camera, and Teresa says that Jan attacked both Melissa and Jacqueline on Twitter looking for a confrontation that would get her some screen time. A handy excuse for both of them. 2. Maniac On the Loose
Dr. V makes a late appearance to analyze the Gorgas and the Giudices and try to help them sort out some of their problems. When she tries to point out Joe Gorga's anger issues, pointing specifically to multiple outbursts from him that have all been televised, he laughs it off. "They think I'm some kind of maniac," he says. Yes, Joe, that's what your violent outbursts would indicate and maybe you should seek some real professional help for it, not just get the two cents from some TV therapist. 1. Teresa
Teresa is the highlight of the evening, being the most calm and collected that I have ever seen her. She has a counterpoint for every one of Melissa's bogus arguments and even sticks up to Caroline, saying, "I don't know who made Caroline boss." Not to mention her hair looks fantastic.
