Anyone who noticed Jacqueline Laurita's absence from the
season 3 reunion of
Real Housewives of New Jersey (which was filmed concurrently with season 4) knew that a fallout between Jacqueline and Teresa Giudice was like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode this season. The bomb finally exploded over the
last two episodes -- Jacqueline and Teresa are going through the beginning of a
bestie breakup.
But nearly a year has passed since
RHONJ finished filming and now Jacqueline is saying she and Teresa have no relationship anymore whatsoever.
"I have no more interest in being friends with Teresa," Jacqueline told
RadarOnline. "I've moved on from that friendship."
Jacqueline talked about part of the reason that she decided to end their friendship once and for all on her
Bravo blog (on which, for someone who claims she's over Teresa, she spends a lot of pages talking about her).
"I felt betrayed because I always supported her in everything she did," she wrote. "I was just trying my best to give her good advice. She was spiraling. Instead of appreciating my advice, she resented me for it because my views and opinions weren't agreeing with hers."
Jacqueline also resented the fact that while she went to her husband for support after their big fight, Teresa went to Jacqueline's sister-in-law, Dina Manzo, to vent about how she had been attacked.
"Why did she feel it was safe to run to our family to vent about us? How could Teresa ever deny again that she talked about us to my sister-in-law after she just admitted that she did? I guess that proved what Caroline has been saying all along. The truth always comes out!"
Jacqueline, not surprisingly, also has opinions about Teresa's relationship with her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.
"I think Teresa fights with her family because she is jealous of the attention Melissa Gorga takes away from her being with her brother. She's also jealous because of the attention Melissa takes from her from being on the show," Jacqueline said in another interview with
RadarOnline. "I don't know if I would say that Teresa is the main problem of the show, it's just that the main focus of the show this year is the drama surrounding her. She is definitely the connection to everybody and everybody is having some type of issue with her."
At the moment it seems things are at least on the mend between Teresa and her family. But looking back at that
season 3 reunion, we shouldn't expect that to last long either.
