In case you haven't heard, Rob McElhenney (Mac), Glenn Howerton (Dennis R. Reynolds), and Charlie Day (Charlie Kelly), the boys of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, are currently working on a new show called Boldly Going Nowhere which will air on FOX. However, they won't be starring in the comedy since they'll be serving as executive producers instead.

Boldly Going Nowhere will reportedly be a mix of comedy and sci-fi and will revolve around the day-to-day life of the captain of an intergalactic spaceship.  Adam Stein, a writer's assistant on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, came up with the original idea and will share a created-by credit, though McElhenney, Howerton, and Day will do much of the writing.  The pilot was shot in October and, so far, FOX has ordered five additional episodes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the boys have decided to recruit some familiar faces for their new project.  David Hornsby has signed on to co-star in Boldly Going Nowhere, while also working as writer on the single-camera comedy.  Moreover, Artemis Pebdani is also slated to come on board.

Hornsby, whose credits include Six Feet Under, The Joe Schmo Show, and Jake in Progress, is known to fans of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Matthew “Rickety Cricket” Mara, and old classmate of the gang who was forced to wear a humiliating giant leg braces in high school and who later became a priest.  Pebdani, on the other hand, is best known for her work as Deandra Reynolds' foul-mouthed friend Artemis on the show.

On Boldly Going Nowhere, Hornsby will play Lt. Lance Grigsby, right-hand man to Ben Koldyke's Capt. Ron Teague, rogue captain on an intergalactic spaceship.  Pebdani will play the ship's alien communications officer.

Meanwhile, fans can catch the Mac, Charlie, Dee and Dennis when It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia returns next year.
