On tonight’s
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the gang decides to fool history in exchange for a little recognition. After being saved from a heart attack last week, Dee and the rest of the cast go their own way to save the unsuccessful Paddy’s Pub.
“The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell” has the gang bluffing to the Philadelphia Historical society. Wanting to get Paddy’s Pub labeled as a historical landmark, they claim that the place was responsible for cracking the famous Liberty Bell. It’s only a matter of time until everyone finds out if it’s true.
As the 11th episode of the fourth season, “The Gang Cracks the Liberty Bell” will test the gang’s quirky attempts at getting what they want. Paddy’s Pub may or may not be saved in the end, but trying to do so is as hilarious as things can get.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars
Glenn Howerton as Dennis,
Danny DeVito as Frank,
Kaitlin Olson as Dee,
Rob McElhenney as Mac, and
Charlie Day as Charlie. The hit comedy series premiered in 2005 to much success, and creators Glenn and Rob have continued its triumphs as FX ordered an additional 39 episodes after season four’s 13.
On the previous episode, Dee and Dennis realized the importance of health. Meanwhile, Charlie and Mac entered the corporate workforce to get insurance. Also, in next week's 12th of the season, “The Gang Gets Extreme: Home Makeover," the gang will encounter an ill-fated family. They decide to fix up their house in order to gain some good karma. This can't be a good idea.
But let’s not get ahead of things. We’ll see if the pub at the City of Brotherly Love will indeed make history, if the gang manages to break history itself. Tonight’s episode airs on FX at 10pm.
