While most reality TV stars come off their shows feeling tired and used, others come out on top, if not basking in the limelight of having become a household name.  That holds true for Tiffany “New York” Pollard, who, after having numerous stints on reality television, is now heading to Hollywood to pursue her dreams of becoming a real actress.  She says that her stints on several VH1 reality shows have helped her gain success and realize her dreams.

She adds that VH1 had given her liberty in creating shows such as I Love New York.  "I tell everybody what happens is, people go on reality shows and regret what they did.  But nobody makes you do anything!  You're free to be whatever you are!  Then they want to blame the network.  That makes no sense."

As for her heartbreak over Tailor Made, she says that she is already moving on and is not losing hope about finding the man of her dreams, even if it was through a reality series.  She says, “I’m still optimistic.  I definitely think it could happen for somebody but, unfortunately, some people, like Tailor Made, pull out, because they’re not used to having the fame.”

So what is it about Hollywood and acting that makes it so special for her? "Honestly, I have to say, ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be an actress.  Being in front of the camera felt so natural," she admits.

However, New York also recognizes the fact that acting is a world apart from appearing on a reality series. She explains, “That’s a different league right there, a whole different ballgame.  That’s what’s so exciting to me about acting.  You have to work extra hard at it.”
