Tiffany PollardTwo weeks ago, we reported on Tiffany Pollard, the 26-year old better known as New York of VH1's reality dating show, I Love New York, and her brief but memorable stage exposure as part of the cast of Relationship Games, which ran at the Arie Crown Theatre earlier this month.  After finally finding love in the person of George Weisgerber, aka Tailor Made, at the close of I Love New York's second season, Pollard has now decided to re-focus her energy towards the pursuit of an acting, and more specifically, a Hollywood career.

The star of I Love New York and its coming spin-off, New York Goes to Hollywood, spoke to the Chicago Defender during her stay in the windy city for the limited engagement Relationship Games production.

“I never saw it coming, but I always wanted to act,” Pollard told the Defender.  “I always wanted my shot, my moment and it just came.  I keep working, and year after year it's more stuff coming, and I am like 'wow' you know!”

With New York's Hollywood dream clearly taking precedence, Pollard has stated that her romance with Tailor Made will have to go on the back burner for the time being.

“It is a lot of pressure,” the star of I Love New York said. “Tailor Made is a great guy.  We will always be friends, but we are having our problems, our ups and downs just like everybody else.  I like to think that we can remain a couple, but I don't know.”

For his part, Tailor Made told the Chicago Defender that he was very proud of New York's stage debut.

“She did an amazing job,” Weisgerber said.  “I feel that in life, once your personal relationships are in order then you focus on career.  I mean love is the most important thing, so we found true love.  We can focus on our respective careers.  I think that is exciting,” he added.
