Buddha is welcoming another year of his life, and what better way to celebrate than with a big birthday bash.
On Sunday, March 10, Buddha, known most for his appearance on the second season of MTV's
I Love New York, will be at Club Mansion in Miami Beach, Florida for his grand birthday celebration. The event will also serve as an album launch party for rapper Rick Ross.
Buddha has become a wildly popular thanks to his stint on the reality dating series,
I Love New York, which featured
Flavor of Love two-time runner-up
Tiffany "New York" Pollard as the eager bachelorette. Buddha, whose real name is Ezra Masters, had his fair share of ups and downs on the show, having been eliminated twice for fighting. However, he was brought to the competition on both occasions, and even managed to make it all the way to the Final Two with George Weisgerber (aka
Tailor Made). Unfortunately for Buddha, Pollard's ultimate decision turned out to be Tailor Made, and the two were engaged during the
I Love New York reunion show.
Buddha, however, seems to have moved on since then, even telling
People magazine last month that he believes Pollard and Tailor Made are a “good match,” and that he has become good friends and keeps in touch with the couple.
Pollard and Tailor Made seem to be a “good match” indeed, as the two are reportedly still very much together – a rarity among relationships formed through reality television. Rumor has it that for the third season of
I Love New York, Pollard will no longer be looking for a new man and instead be heading to Hollywood in pursuit of an acting career.
"The season is going to be called 'New York Loves Hollywood' and will follow her attempt to become an actress in Los Angeles," a source told the
New York Daily News. "They are currently trying to cast established industry people in Hollywood to be on the show with her."
