It's recently been rumored that there will be a third season of
I Love New York, only this time, it will focus on her attempt to make it in Hollywood as opposed to focusing on her quest for love. She doesn't need to quest for love any longer, ostensibly, because she found it during her search on
I Love New York 2 when she met her soul mate
Tailor Made.
Despite this, though, rumors continue to circulate that the all is not well in their world, and there has recently been a claim that New York is dating a teenager. Not so, says none other than the teenager himself, who says, instead, that he while he's definitely got love for New York, it's the love of a serious fan, and the only love he's getting back is the love New York has for all her supportive audience members.
The hubbub started when gossip site (and, it would appear, not the biggest fans of New York) MediaTakeOut.com posted pictures that purported to show New York getting cozy with a young man they claimed she was dating.
However, the young man himself said that the pictures show something else entirely between himself and the
I Love New York star.
FlavorofLove.blogspot.com posted the young man's MySpace response to the story. The young man (named Bruce) said that the pictures show nothing more than a fan getting some one-on-one time with one of his favorite celebrities.
He says, emphatically, in the post, “WE'RE NOT DATING. New York met me in an airport and we took some pics ... she's my idol, my hero, so I took tons of pics.” He says these are the pics were then posted, but that the context was not remotely romantic – as much as that might be bum out the sweetly-enthusiastic New York fan, who said, “even though i would loveeeeeeeeee to date newyork, i don't.”
The young fan also points out that it's likely the recent pictures circulating with Tailor Made and a young woman are probably innocent as well.
