Winner of the first season of
Flavor of Love and current
I Love Money contestant
Hoopz is gracing the cover of the latest issue of King magazine, which doesn't only feature her stunning body, but is described as one of the more creative covers in a long time. It shows Hoopz, real name Nikki Alexander, in a revealing two-piece bursting out of a transparent wall of plastic.
King magazine is a monthly men's publication that primarily targets the African-American and urban audience. It features articles on music, often hip-hop and R&B, as well as sports and fashion. There is also an accompanying interview for the cover model, who is always scantily clad. The magazine is supposed to be an answer to the proliferation of mainstream men's magazine that promotes “stick-figured woman” for its models. King leans towards the more curvaceous, full-figured models.
Hoopz, 26, won the first season of
Flavor of Love in 2006, the VH1 reality show that pits girls for the affection of rapper
Flavor Flav. While she was picked over the feisty Tiffany Pollard, the two reportedly called it quits barely a month after the finale of the show aired. She pursued modeling afterwards, gracing the cover of several calendars and magazines, and even appearing in some music videos.
She next joined
I Love Money, which features contestants from several VH1 shows, such as
Flavor of Love,
I Love New York, and
Rock of Love. Hoopz is seen on the show as one of the smarter players in the ensemble. She is still in contention along with nine other people. The winner of
I Love Money takes home $250,000.
