If his fans are to be believed, of course,
Heat left
I Love Money far too early than they hoped. Despite the abrupt elimination, however, the Queens, New York native still describes his
I Love Money experience as “great” and “unbelievable.”
"It was unbelievable, really. I mean, it was great. I believe I was one of the better characters, in every aspect, from the visual to the comedy aspect to even the drama aspect. I brought a little bit of juice in each department."
According to Heat, it wasn't only him who was surprised at his early elimination, judging from the “hundreds of emails” he received after getting the boot.
“People are seriously pissed. A lot of people don't want to watch the show anymore because I brought something different that most people don't have. Also, I was the only Spanish guy on the show, so we just lost thousands of Spanish fans, and that hurts.”
In the end, however, Heat does not mince words about how confident he feels while he was on
I Love Money.
“There's a billion good-looking guys out there, but I'm one of those good-looking guys that's being myself, being very proactive and I keep getting one opportunity after another.”
Heat also clarified that what he and Destiney shared was just “an affectionate, sweet crush,” not love. They slept in the same bed for a good five days but didn't do anything nasty. For those who didn't know, Destiney saw another contestant Megan on Heat's lap, which ultimately caused his elimination.
After
I Love Money, Heat said he upped his workout habits and even changed his diet. He also has a film coming out toward the end of summer called
Unemployed, where he plays a crazy Italian cable guy. He also appears in the black and Spanish version of
My Big Fat Greek Wedding called Tamales and Gumbo. He also produced and directed his first music video. As for the Heat action figure, he says it's for all ages, vibrates, and “may be a better seller with the females.”
I Love Money pits past contestants from
Flavor of Love,
Rock of Love, and
I Love New York in several challenges en route to a $250,000 prize.
