I Know My Kid's a Star concluded last night as former child star
Danny Bonaduce found the next great undiscovered child talent after eight episodes. The series, which premiered in March, followed children and parents living together in one house, struggling to endure weekly challenges and weekly eliminations.
In the finale, the parents were asked to find the best way to market their child and that they had to style their child according to the brand they chose. During the surprise elimination, the judges decided to eliminate
Mary Jo and Pam because they felt that Pam was trying to make Mary Jo something she wasn't and that Pam wasn't ready for Hollywood. Subsequently, the remaining two pairs, consisting of
Cheyenne and Helene, and
Mckenzi and Shannon, performed in a showcase in front of live audience. In the end, Mckenzi and Shannon were declared the winners.

McKenzie was the right one to win. Cheyanne was too mean and that.

McKenzi is only a 9 year child she is a little too young to be dating anyone
As winners of
I Know My Kid's a Star, Shannon and daughter Mackenzi took home $50,000.
“If you leave it up to McKenzie, she'd give it all to charity. People think, ‘Oh, yeah right. What 10-year-old would do that?' My 10-year-old would! I say, ‘We could at least break even on some of this stuff we do!' ‘Cause she also sings and performs in other places, so we need to at least break even,” McKenzie said of the cash prize.
According to McKenzie her reality TV experience was something very stressful. Fortunately, fans' prayers and support gave her the confidence and the motivation to linger on the competition.
“Thank you all so much for your support. As all of you know, the entire ordeal was extremely trying on me, but I survived. I can honestly say even if we hadn't won, I'd do it all again for the experience. Plus, McKenzie had a blast, and we met lots of wonderful people – not just the cast, but the behind-the-scenes crew,” she said.
