Gian DiFranco is a 12-year-old from Louisiana. He is trained in ballroom dancing. Sandy DiFranco is his mother.

Sandy and Gian DiFranco are one of the ten parent and child pairs competing on VH1’s reality TV talent search I Know My Kid’s a Star, wherein children from ages 8 to13 and their parents compete against each other to become the next child star and the stage parent least likely to corrupt their child's fame, respectively. There is also a cash prize of $50,000. All pairs live together in one house and are given weekly challenges, and one team is eliminated at every end of the week. The Partridge Family and former child actor Danny Bonaduce hosts the show.

On the show’s fourth episode, the challenge was to shoot a scene for a commercial, Gian’s enthusiasm while performing was a great factor in his team’s win. Even though Cheyenne’s performance was described as more technically superior than his, it was Gian who “sold” the performance.
