Mary Jo Wold was born on August 2, 1995 in Tampa, Florida. She dances ballet, salsa, modern, tap, hip hop, club and freestyle. Mary Jo also plays the guitar and the violin. She also enjoys aerobics, tennis, swimming, gymnastics and rollerblading.
She was part of Celebration Theater Group’s production of Dear Edwina and Orlando Youth Theater’s version of Beauty and the Beast.
Mary Jo has appeared on shows Cashmere Mafia, The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet, Cooking with John Ashton and Babylon Fields. In the film Beyond Imagination, Mary Jo was the lead actress. She was also featured on the front cover of Parent Guide Tampa Florida. This twelve-year-old girl also modeled for Energie Clothing, Radio Broadcast Network, College Board and Justice Girls.
Pamela Wold is Mary Jo’s mom.
Pamela and Mary Jo Wold are one of the ten parent and child pairs competing on VH1’s reality TV talent search I Know My Kid’s a Star, wherein children from ages 8 to13 and their parents compete against each other to become the next child star and the stage parent least likely to corrupt their child's fame, respectively. There is also a cash prize of $50,000. All pairs live together in one house and are given weekly challenges, and one team is eliminated at every end of the week. The Partridge Family and former child actor Danny Bonaduce hosts the show.
