Devon Goocher was born on December 13, 1996. She trained at the KD Studio located in Dallas, Texas and is skilled in singing and dancing. She dances hip hop, disco, club, freestyle and salsa. Devon is also knowledgeable in playing musical instruments like the guitar, the drums and the piano. She enjoys aerobics, tennis, swimming and gymnastics.
Kevin Goocher is Devon’s father.
Kevin and Devon Goocher are one of the ten parent and child pairs competing on VH1’s reality TV talent search I Know My Kid’s a Star, wherein children from ages 8 to13 and their parents compete against each other to become the next child star and the stage parent least likely to corrupt their child's fame, respectively. There is also a cash prize of $50,000. All pairs live together in one house and are given weekly challenges, and one team is eliminated at every end of the week. The Partridge Family and former child actor Danny Bonaduce hosts the show.
On the second episode of the show, Kevin and Devon were placed in the bottom two teams alongside Rocky and Hayley. The reasons were because Devon forgot her lines during the auditions and the judges thought Kevin wouldn’t be a good manager. They were eliminated that day.
