Alai Divinity is 12 years old, and her talent is dancing. In 2008, she was seen as a girl at a dance on Brian J. De Palma’s movie Down and Distance.
Alai’s mother Gigi Hunter was born in Washington, D.C. She is an actress and a dancer who has made appearances on Cold Case, Rent, Lambada, Mac and Me, Coming to America and Dark Streets.
Gigi Hunter and Alai Divinity are one of the ten parent and child pairs competing on VH1’s reality TV talent search I Know My Kid’s a Star, wherein children from ages 8 to13 and their parents compete against each other to become the next child star and the stage parent least likely to corrupt their child's fame, respectively. There is also a cash prize of $50,000. All pairs live together in one house and are given weekly challenges, and one team is eliminated at every end of the week. The Partridge Family and former child actor Danny Bonaduce hosts the show.
