In a world gone mad with delusional stage moms and money hungry agents, one man has taken it upon himself to find the next great undiscovered child talent and teach them how to survive the beast that is Hollywood celebrity.
Danny Bonaduce, former child star who became known as an adult for his tumultuous personal life, will finally end his quest tonight on the season finale of
I Know My Kid's a Star.
Airing on VH1,
I Know My Kid's a Star is a competitive reality series that features 10 parent/child pairings, each one working together to further the child's career. The show follows the children and parents living together in one house as they struggle with weekly challenges and avoid weekly eliminations. The child who wins the competition will ultimately take home $50,000. The three teams in the finale will be acting coach Helen and her daughter Cheyenne, precocious McKenzie and her mom Shannon, and pageant mom Pam with Mary Jo.
The season ender of
I Know My Kid's a Star picks up directly from the final elimination stage where we left off from the previous episode. It seems that this challenge is going to tough for the remaining teams as Bonaduce announces that the children's challenge will have them performing in a showcase for a live audience, while the parent's challenge will be to produce that showcase.
Consequently, the youngsters will need to have the wardrobe, look and talent in order to prove that they have what it takes to be the next child superstar. The parents, on the other hand, will have to learn how to promote and properly market their child as a budding celebrity.
This time Marki will play consultant to the three teams in order to help them with the challenge of creating a brand for their child. Finally, Danny announces that of the three teams only two will be competing in the final challenge. Danny will choose the two teams to compete based on their performance on the parent challenge.
Find out who will be crowned the next child star on tonight's finale of I
Know My Kid's a Star on VH1.
