He is a hopeless romantic who is in love with Carol, yet the two of them are unable to go out with each other due to the fact that they work together. Nevertheless, he offers Carol a very personal gift on her 30th birthday, which only serves to make her more neurotic about the whole event. He’s faced later on with the prospect of having to find a date for an upcoming wedding, which Mandy also has to attend.
