The 100th episode of How I Met Your Mother is turning out to be one star-studded event. So far, we've learned that there's going to be some serious Mother action, which will be the closest Ted's ever come to discovering her future wife, a big kick-ass musical number headlined by Barney Stinson and an appearance by former O.C. actress Rachel Bilson. Now the milestone episode gets even better with the addition of Project Runway's Tim Gunn.

How I Met Your Mother is available on Amazon Prime.

Known as a mentor to designers on Project Runway, Gunn will try to "make it work" as Barney's personal tailor/ fashion consultant who will attempt to "fix a major league 'Suit Catastrophe,'" according to How I Met Your Mother co-creator Craig Thomas. "Tim is basically like Barney's ER physician for a serious suit emergency."

It's "life or death stuff," Thomas joked, referring to Barney as character that takes his suits very seriously.

"We're really excited to have Tim on the show, and, with Rachel Bilson cast as a Ted love interest and a huge musical number to boot, it's gonna make Episode 100 even more fun and special," Thomas added.

Gunn recently guest starred in an episode of Drop Dead Diva while Bilson was last seen on the small screen as Lou in two episodes of Chuck.

The highly anticipated episode is expected to air around the mid-point of the CBS comedy's fifth season. In the mean time, How I Met Your Mother has booked yet another guest star to appear for an earlier episode. According to IGN, country star Kenny Rogers will grace the episode called "Dual Citizenship," airing on October 19, which finds Ted and Marshall traveling to Chicago to relive a college memory but Lily spoils the fun by tagging a long so a change of plans leads to a guest performance from Kenny Rogers.
