Neil Patrick Harris was born on June 15, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is best known for his portrayal of Doogie in the series Doogie Howser, M.D. Aside from his break as a child actor, he also landed supporting roles in Starship Troopers, The Next Best Thing, Undercover Brother, and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. He also starred in the sitcom Stark Raving Mad with Tony Shalhoub. Presently, he is part of the television series How I Met Your Mother as Barney Stinson.
