When How I Met Your Mother begins its eighth season, there will be two big weddings, both with the same groom.

We know that Barney will be marrying Robin somewhere down the road, but in the present it's his engagement to Quinn (Becki Newton) that's getting all the attention.

In the newest promo for How I Met Your Mother season 8, Barney prepares for his "wedding" to Quinn which sounds legen ... well, you know how that ends. He even wants bears in tuxedos!

One thing he probably didn't want, but which comes out anyway, is the fact that he and Robin used to date. It seems like having Robin as an ex ALWAYS screws up weddings on this show.



So how long do you think it will be before Quinn is gone? One episode? Two? Or will we be stuck having to pretend that she's relevant for most of the year? The only decent thing about having her on the show is that it's almost like an Ugly Betty reunion with Newton as Quinn and Amanda's gay BFF Marc (actor Michael Urie) starring on Partners, which follows HIMYM.

How I Met Your Mother season 8 premieres Monday, September 24 at 8pm on CBS.
