After learning almost everything there is to know on how to date Robin in
last week's "Robin 101," we move on to Ted as
How I Met Your Mother puts the spotlight on his life as a single professor. We also see what happens when our favorite couples go out for a night of fun.
In tonight's episode of
How I Met Your Mother, we finally meet the sexless innkeeper as hinted before in my previous article. Evidently, many people have their own tale of the sexless innkeeper and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) tells one that happened a year ago through a poem he composed on his own. While a flashback narration courtesy of Barney is funny enough, we also see Barney and Robin (Cobie Smulders) poking fun at Ted (Josh Radnor) when they realize that he is "The Sexless Innkeeper."
Still trying to adjust with his architectural teaching job at Columbia, Ted welcomes the idea of befriending some of his students. But when a batch of girls come to his apartment and immediately falls asleep, Ted is bummed to know that they are only interested in a comfy place to crash.
Meanwhile, it's time for the inevitable double date to happen on
How I Met Your Mother now that there's another couple in the group. Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan), who have always expressed their desire to find the perfect double-date friends, invite Robin and Marshall for a night out. Unfortunately, it doesn't go as planned because Lily and Marshall come too string and try too hard to impress Robin and Barney, who are then forced to break up with them.
