After 9 seasons, How I Met Your Mother takes its final bow with an hour-long series finale on Monday, March 31. BuddyTV was there when the cast, including Josh Radnor, Alyson Hannigan and Cristin Milioti walked the red carpet at the show's recent event at Paleyfest 2014. Check out the interviews to find out what were some favorite moments of filming and what some actors will be doing after the show is over.

How I Met Your Mother began as a fun little show about a guy in the future telling his children the entire story of how he met their mother. What started as a rather simple, if ingenious, concept became so much more than that over 9 seasons. From Barney's "legendary" catchphrases, Canadian pop star secrets, slap bets, musical episodes, interventions, weddings, births and countless other memorable moments that firmly placed these characters into fans' hearts.

When the final credits roll, there will undoubtedly be more than a few tears being shed as fans are forced to say goodbye to Ted, Marshall, Lily, Robin and Barney. Ted's nine-year story to his children will finally be over and they, plus the fans, will learn why he began telling it in the first place.

Check out the interview with Cristin Milioti to find out what kind of emotional impact the final episode will have on fans, plus some of her favorite moments while filming the series.

Check out the quick interview (before she was whisked away to the event) to find out what Alyson Hannigan felt was the best part of playing Lily over the past 9 seasons.

Check out the super-quick interview below to hear Josh Radnor's thoughts on directing, plus his plans for life after How I Met Your Mother.
