House had the largest audience via DVR viewing, garnering 4.064 million, which is one of the largest DVR audiences measured to date.
Alongside
House, other shows that have ranked among the most watched through DVR are
Fringe,

Prison Break and
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Included in the top ten list of shows with the largest DVR audiences include
Big Brother,

Because of the massive success that the show has garnered, the star of the show has also become a household name across America.
Hugh Laurie, the 49-year-old English actor who plays Dr. Gregory House in the Emmy Award-winning FOX series, is set to become one of the highest-paid actors on television with a new deal to continue his work on the series, Reuters reports.
Laurie began working on
House with a humble mid-five figure salary in 2004 and eventually got a substantial raise in the summer of 2006, when he earned around $250,000-$300,000 per episode. This year, his paycheck is expected to boast of an amount close to $400,000 per episode under a new deal with producer Universal Media Studios.
Topping the list of the highest-paid television actors for drama series are
CSI's
William Petersen, who earns $600,000 per episode and
24's Kiefer Sutherland, who earns around $500,000. Moreover, the two also serve as executive producers in their respective series.
Laurie's career is expected to steadily climb with the success of
House, which recently garnered an average 16.7 million viewers in its past season, making it the second-highest-rated scripted series behind ABC's
Desperate Housewives.
