On the last episode of House, Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) was cooking awesome dishes, doing Wilson's laundry, and solving medical mysteries on the Internet. House was officially discharged from the loony bin but in a surprise twist (or not so surprise, depends on what you think), he opted not to go back as head of Princeton Plainsboro's diagnostic department.

Foreman (Omar Epps) was only too willing to take his place, but the other people in the team weren't exactly jumping for joy at the idea - mainly because Foreman was trying to imitate House, except for him, being obnoxious and unlikable didn't work at all.

The "hard" case of the week

The patient of the week was a stubborn ass, much like House (or Foreman, since he's channeling him). He complained about burning hands.  And he was able to hack Foreman's account and somehow get hold of an incriminating photo. There was also the matter of the three-hour-long hard on. Hmm wait, it's possible that a prolonged erection is caused by a brain tumor?

After disproving more symptoms, the guy finally gets his answer - from the Internet (where he posted his symptoms and offered a reward to whoever can give correct diagnosis). But later on, he started to have hallucinations based on the game. Back at Mayfield, they would be yelling "Code Gray" to this. In the end, it was revealed that House - the "genius he repeatedly referred to throughout the episode - was behind the right diagnosis he got online, meaning House just one-upped Foreman. I love it.

House and Wilson

Meanwhile, House went back to talk to the loony bin head, and he suggested that he get a hobby, and the next thing we know, he's in a kitchen with Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) (though it's clear he misses his job). And they talked about balls. Much later, House is in the kitchen making some dishes and having Wilson taste it. It's almost sweet. Scratch almost. It's sweet. Then he does his laundry - what?

House and Cuddy

And Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) visited House, only there's a Japanese in the kitchen from his cooking class who thought Cuddy dressed like a hooker. At one point, Cuddy told House she'd miss him, and that made him stop in his tracks - what?

13 and Foreman

I guess it's to say that Foreman isn't exactly the most likeable person when he's head of diagnostic (or when he's channeling his inner Mugabe, offered House). Later on, 13 (Olivia Wilde) went over to House's to talk about the patient and how Foreman was being a jerk. Eventually the two made up and made out, but it was interrupted when the patient of the week started exhibiting more symptoms. After the case was solved, 13 told us the story of a cheerleader from Iowa she got it on with over at Sarah Lawrence. And eventually, she was fired. Right.

House and Dr. Darryl Nolan

Throughout the episode, House consulted the head psychiatrist from Mayfield (Andre Braugher). Eventually, the exchange went something like this (amazing, I know):

Dr. Nolan: Isolation fosters depression.
House: The hospital is part of my whole life.
Dr. Nolan: The only thing worse for you than going back to diagnostic medicine is not going back.
