House writers have previously expressed their willingness for Jennifer Morrison's character Cameron to make a return on the Fox medical drama, but from the looks of things, it doesn't look too well for Cameron and Chameron fans alike.

Morrison, 30, has all but ruled out a return on House anytime soon, when she joined the upcoming revival of William Gibson's The Miracle Worker as Helen Keller's mother Kate. She won't be the only television personality on the cast, as In Treatment's Alison Pill will play the the child's miracle worker of a teacher.

The move comes a month after Morrison bid farewell to House, and since the Miracle Worker begins previews in February and runs at least through the spring, a return this season seems highly unlikely.

The Broadway engagement is her first foray into theater. Aside from House, her last memorable appearance was probably that of James T. Kirk's mother Winona on J.J. Abrams' Star Trek reboot last year.

Talking about the possibility of her return, Morrison said she essentially knew nothing at that point.

"I don't know anything about anything," she told Entertainment Weekly in November. "That's the thing. Everyone expects me to have an answer and there's no answer to have because there's... no answer."
