Late last month, Shore told USA Today that in the season ender, brilliant head diagnostician Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) will be involved in an accident and lose his memory in the preceding hours.

"He'll be finding out what he's forgotten and its significance.  Bringing his memory back is crucial," he says.  "It's going to be big."

Shore also said that storylines involving Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) and Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) and their relationship with House will have to be put off until next season.  This ties in with what show co-producer Katie Jacobs recently told the Daily Princetonian.  Apparently, House and Wilson will be taking a road trip “that will reach into House's past” during the show's fifth season.

The production team of House has not come across any big problems resuming the show, though schedules have been adjusted in order to accommodate some of the actors who signed up for big screen projects during the WGA strike.

Some of the show's stars, namely Edelstein and newbie Kal Penn, have also recently become members of the American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet for 2008.  Edelstein and Penn, who plays Dr. Lawrence Kutner on the medical drama, are among the star-studded roster that also includes Jennie Garth (Beverly Hills 90210, Dancing with the Stars), Masi Oka (Heroes), Tony Hawk and Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl).

The new episodes of House will begin airing on Monday, April 28 at 9pm on FOX.
