After nearly a month, House
returns tonight with a brand new episode. "Lockdown" is not only Hugh Laurie's directorial debut, it also marks the (brief) return of Jennifer Morrison to the show. As a result, Foreman (Omar Epps) and Taub (Peter Jacobson) are stuck in the file room (where they can take a peek at anyone's file), while Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) and Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) remain in the cafeteria playing truth or dare. For his part, Chase (Jesse Spencer) opportunely finds himself with ex-wife Cameron.

As for House, he is locked with a special patient (David Strathairn) who will die in more or less 24 hours. Laurie tells the New York Times
about the character, "He is approaching death and is sort of looking back on his life with the kinds of longing and regrets that House suddenly sees he might have."House
