FOX is the final network to have its upfronts this week. As far as upfront weeks go, it hasn't been the most exciting. In this Internet age we live in, secrets are almost impossible to keep – we all knew which shows were being canceled and which weren't. We knew which new series were going to be picked up. The one thing that networks can keep secret, however, are their final schedules. FOX released two schedules today, one for Fall and one for the Spring. Below, you will find the Fall schedule, followed by a look at the new series and some commentary

New Fall Shows:
Fringe
The new sci-fi drama from J.J. Abrams. Need I say more? It follows a young scientist (Joshua Jackson), his formerly institutionalized father, and a female FBI agent as they investigate paranormal activity. This is one to watch for.
Do Not Disturb
Jason Bateman directed the pilot to this series (previously called
The Inn), which takes place in an upscale New York hotel, called The Inn. It stars Jerry O'Connell as the general manager of the hotel, in a classic upstairs/downstairs story.
Thoughts:
Those Monday and Tuesday nights look pretty good, don't they?
Terminator and
Prison Break should be a nice little combo. FOX must really love
Fringe, since they are jump-starting its existence by having it follow
House. I've always found FOX to be very creative with its schedule. They've basically given up competing for the number one slot anytime on Thursday with
Kitchen Nightmares and
The Moment of Truth. Probably a smart move, given their competition.
