MTV is partnering with George Clooney, Wyclef Jean and a long list of Hollywood's biggest stars to present "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief," a nationwide telethon to raise funds for the earthquake victims of Haiti.
The nationwide telethon,
one of the largest charitable efforts ever, airs Friday, January 22 at
8pm ET/PT, and will be presented commercial-free on across MTV, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CNN and many other networks.
"Hope for Haiti Now" will begin accepting donations at 12pm ET/9am PT on Friday. All proceeds will go to five relief
organizations actively operating in Haiti: Oxfam America, Partners in
Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF and Wyclef's Yele Haiti foundation.
BuddyTV is proud to support these efforts by presenting the
live streaming telecast right here, with the hope that you will donate
what you can to help a nation in need.
