The Golden Globes (well, any awards show) are the perfect venue for star-watching. The shows (and this is one reason so many celebrities turn out) are an excuse for the all the good-looking people in Hollywood to prove to the world and their peers just how good they actually look. Cleavage is always aplenty, the combined worth of the jewelry worn by the ladies eclipses the GNP of many an impoverished nation, and the public eats it all up. We love it. Red carpet specials are almost as highly-anticipated as the awards shows themselves. With this in mind, I kept a close eye on the beautiful ladies of TV during the red carpet this year and formulated my own personal top ten best dressed list. Now, I'm no Mr. Blackwell; my fashion sense could be called "poor", "uninformed", or (most accurately) "non-existent". Therefore, my list is mostly based on me ranking the hottest and sexiest (there is a difference) of the television actresses who graced the red carpet last Monday.
This year seemed to lack the abundance of lovely ladies that past Golden Globes contained. Perhaps this is just optimistic nostalgia; perhaps it is true. Even if the quantity wasn't as high as I had anticipated, the quality was exceptional. Also, the age range for this list is a testament to the agelessness of Hollywood or, maybe more cynically, the prowess of LA-based surgeons.
