Celebrity Family FeudWhen NBC first announced its All American Summer programming line-up, Celebrity Family Feud was scheduled to debut July 1st.  Those eagerly anticipating this new celebreality competition will be thrilled to know that the network just couldn't wait to give it to the viewing public, and has therefore fast-tracked the show's debut a week ahead of schedule.

Yes, Celebrity Family Feud is all set to invade primetime beginning next week, when it premieres Tuesday, June 24 from 8-9pm.

Growing up to the original daytime Family Feud hosted by “Kissing Bandit” Richard Dawson, this new summer celebrity version is certainly something to look forward to.  For next week's take-off telecast, the families of four famous personalities battle it out for the coveted $50,000, which will go to charity.

First up in next week's maiden broadcast of Celebrity Family Feud are Law & Order: SVU star Ice-T and family, going up against the Rivers brood led by the queens of the red carpet, Joan and Melissa Rivers.  Ice-T's posse includes wife Coco, son Ice, Coco's mother Tina, and their family friend, Sean.  They will be playing for the Unity 2 charity.  On the other side of the board, Joan and Melissa will be joined by Joan's nephew Andrew, her niece Caroline, and her assistant Sabrina.  Team Rivers will be hoping to win for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Game 2 of Celebrity Family Feud's first episode features That's So Raven's Raven-Symone with mom Lydia, brother Blaize Blaize, and TV parents Rondell Sheridan and Crystal Keymah, matching up against Las Vegas headliner, Wayne Newton and family.  Wayne brings with him wife Kathleen, daughter Erin, mother-in-law Marilyn and sister-in-law Tricia, as they play for The USO against Raven-Symone's troop representing the American Red Cross.

Catch Celebrity Family Feud, hosted by Today Show's Al Roker, when it premieres a week ahead of schedule Tuesday next week.
