CBS had their upfronts this morning and they revealed their fall schedule, which includes five new series: three dramas, one comedy, and one reality show.
Jericho was one of the big casualties this morning (
read about it here), but that was not totally unexpected. There was some interesting shuffling of the schedule and some disappointing news for
Amazing Race fans.
Here are some of the big story lines to emerge from the CBS announcement, followed by a look at all the new shows, and the entire Fall schedule:
Here is a quick look at the new series, followed by the full schedule.
The Big Bang Theory: This comedy is about two computer geek friends who live next door to a hot, single woman. Hilarity may ensue.
Viva Laughlin: A mystery set in a casino that will occasionally star Hugh Jackman. Also, the actors will break into song from time to time.
Moonlight: A drama about a vampire private eye who uses his vampire skills to solve crimes.
Swingtown: About a neighborhood in 1970's Chicago full of swinging couples.
Cane: An epic story of a Cuban-American family running a Rum business in Florida, starring Jimmy Smits.
Kid Nation: A bizarre sounding reality series about kids starting their own society, or city, or something.
