As Frederick “Freddy” Watson on the soap opera Hollyoaks, Greg Kelly portrayed a student activist who studied English literature at Hollyoaks Community College.  Throughout the show, he was seen as an avid protester against many things.  He also had a sinister side, which became evident in his obsession with revenge against the college for animal rights and his conspiracy with Chris Fenwick to dispose Lee Hunter from his presidency. Towards the end, Freddy was no longer seen when Zara Morgan, whom he briefly dated, left for Thailand to work for charity.  In the coming months, the 38-year-old actor will be marking his return to acting with drama movies.

The former Hollyoaks actor has just completed filming the drama film Car Park, which is set for release later this year.  The film is a fast-phased docu-soap with multi-story arcs that explores the world of car parks through the lives of three men.  One dreams of a distant future, one tries to recapture a lost past, and another pretends he's not there at all.  The movie also features Geoff Holman and James Foster.

Also for release this year is the movie Lookin' for Lucky, which features the former Hollyoaks actor as one of the lead stars.  He plays Chalkie, along with Clive Bonelle who plays Moses, in a plot about two siblings who are trapped in very different worlds.  The drama is directed by Chris Leonard and is currently in post-production stages.

Following his stint on Hollyoaks, Greg Kelly was cast for a minor role in the adventure comedy flick entitled Idiocracy.
