Throughout the series, he has had multiple on-and-off relationships, affairs and engagements with numerous women, among them Julie Matthews, Lucy Benson, and Mandy Richardson to name just a few. He’s also had multiple jobs and entrepreneurial schemes, such as video shop owner, chef, student landlord, and running for councilman. A memorable point was when his attempt to take advantage of a recycling system caused him to drink his own urine, and when his septic tank exploded, causing his house to be condemned by the Environmental Health board.
