English actor Matt Littler was born on March 19, 1982 in Bury, Lancashire. A cast member of the long-running British soap opera Hollyoaks since 1996, he’s also appeared in Children’s Ward and in the BBC reality show Only Fools on Horses. Matt Littler was nominated for Best Actor during the 2006 British Soap Awards.

Max Cunningham is portrayed by Matt Littler in the long-running British soap opera Hollyoaks. He’s grown through the years from a happy-go-lucky and rude young teenager into a thoughtful and responsible young man. Though he once tried to become a successful musical comedy act with his best friend OB and his father Gordon, the first single they recorded failed to become a hit. Around this time, Max was also influenced by the death of his sister Dawn due to leukemia. He then goes through a string of troubles, such as his parents also dying in a car crash, but slowly copes and eventually becomes co-owner of The Loft along with OB.
