English singer and actor Ashley Taylor Dawson was born on January 11, 1982 in Cheshire, England. As a boy, he was part of the SCAMPS Youth Company. Ashley Dawson has been a cast member of the long-running soap opera Hollyoaks since 1999, and he was also a member of the UK pop band allSTARS*, performing with them on the children’s television show STARStreet*.

Darren Osborne is played by Ashley Dawson on the British television drama Hollyoaks. Arrogant and headstrong, he rarely thinks things through and always tries to show his worth with get-rich-quick schemes. He’s known for his flamboyant clothes and for forcibly trying to prove his independence, usually getting into trouble along the way. He’s also shown a bigoted attitude against gay people, and is fond of sleeping with numerous women only to break their hearts later on. Though he left for America for a brief period, he came back to Hollyoaks and has continued his villainous ways.
