Hogan Knows Best

Over the past few weeks, BuddyTV has been reporting about the new spin-off series of Hogan Knows Best, to be led by the Hulkster's daughter, Brooke Hogan.  Last week, VH1 finally made an official announcement regarding the series, which is going by the title Brooke Hogan Knows Best.

The cable network has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the series, which will follow the 19-year-old reality star as she goes about in Miami free from her father's overprotective ways.  She'll be governed by her own set of rules and dealing “with the ins and outs of daily life,” the pressures of handling her music career and finances on her own, new relationships and being away from the nest for the first time in her life.

Brooke Hogan, who is currently working on her second album, won't be completely alone in Brooke Hogan Knows Best, as she will be appearing alongside roommates Ashley and Glenn.  The show will also introduce a variety of other interesting characters, including love interests, new buddies and new business associates.

VH1 is producing Brooke Hogan Knows Best in conjunction with Pink Sneakers Productions. Executive-producing the series are Kimberly Belcher Cowin and John Ehrhard, who also doubles as a director.  Warren Cohen serves as a supervising producer, while Brad Abramson, Shelly Tatro and Jeff Olde serve as executive producers for VH1.

This new offering from VH1 comes after four seasons of Hogan Knows Best, the production of which was halted last year after Brooke Hogan's younger brother, Nick Hogan, was involved in a car accident that left passenger John Graziano critically injured.  Months after the accident, Linda Hogan announced she was filing for a divorce from Hulk Hogan.  Since then, the two have been in the middle of ugly court proceedings, with the children reportedly living the Hogan matriarch.

VH1 has not yet announced a premiere date for Brooke Hogan Knows Best.
