It’s tough to be
Zac Efron and there’s no sarcasm behind that sentiment. The minute
High School Musical first aired on The Disney Channel in 2006, Efron became a huge celebrity and has been followed by the paparazzi ever since. Being the nice guy that he is, Efron was often open with the press about his personal life but learned quickly and now clams up when they are around. He has stopped talking about his relationship with costar
Vanessa Hudgens, which has often made its way onto the covers of various tabloid magazines. He is trying his hardest to stay out of the spotlight when he’s off camera and recently told the paparazzi why they don’t find him partying in Hollywood.

Unfortunately, I don't see much of a future for Efron after the HSM movies.

this is how all teen celebs should be - not causing trouble!
"I don't find myself drawn to that scene. I think acting is a tradition that far pre-dates celebrity and, today, the two are just meshing,” he told them. “It's not even that I've made a conscious decision not to party. I don't think clubbing is a choice you make. You can have fun with friends without part of that scene.”
Efron recently elaborated on his feelings towards avoiding the Hollywood club scene to British publication, Now magazine. “I don't hang at clubs and then go to Starbucks with Paris [Hilton] – I just go home,” he said. “I'm not a bad kid. I don't do typical Hollywood teen star things.”
Efron does try to live a regular life, often visiting friends and family back home and spending his days doing everyday, normal things. He doesn’t even mind when fans come up to him but says, the group that approaches him most might not be who you think. “The parents are the ones who want the pictures! The girls are too shy. I can pretty much go anywhere – I just have to wear sunglasses,” he laughed. “But there's no way that I'd avoid my fans. I like making them happy.”
