High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is a teen no more.  The actress turned the big 2-0 on Sunday and didn't waste any time celebrating with boyfriend Zac Efron.  On the day of her birthday, Efron showed up at his girlfriend's house, with flowers in hand.  The two then headed to L.A. restaurant Stanley's, where they enjoyed a two hour meal together.  The paparazzi watched as the two walked arm in arm into the restaurant.  Afterwards, the couple decided to sneak out the back and head back to Vanessa's place for to spend some quiet time together.  Later that evening, she was supposed to have a larger party with friends and family but cancelled at the last minute, perhaps because of bad press.

Vanessa's 20th birthday bash was scheduled to take place at Bar Marmount.  “She canceled because she didn’t want the bad press because it’s a bar,” a source at the restaurant told E! News. “She could have gotten in though, because they serve dinner as well.”  She had sent out invitations and was ready to party but decided last minute that celebrating at a bar, underage, may not go over well with her fans or with Disney.  Vanessa's rep, however, commented on the party and said that nothing was a definite.  The rep told E! News that the event "was never for sure. [Bar Marmont] was just one of the places we considered."

For the High School Musical star, dinner at Stanley's with her boyfriend seemed to be enough to satisfy her.  “She’s been here before,” Stanley’s manager Luis Morales said. “They came in for lunch and sat by themselves. We don’t bother them much.”  Today, she was spotted out with her mother in Glendale, looking for a new mattress.  Efron decided to skip out on today's shopping spree!
