High School Musical: Vanessa Hudgens Doesn't Think Her Boyfriend Smells
Last week, High School Musical fans jumped to the defense of star Zac Efron when Star magazine attacked his personal hygiene.  According to the gossip mag, a source on the High School Musical 3 set said that Zac was not a fan of showering, which made him pretty gross.  "When he gets lazy, he likes to clean himself with baby wipes,” the insider revealed.  Efron probably didn't have to worry that anyone would believe the story since friends and fans alike know how much time he puts into making sure he looks good.  The story claimed that Zac's odor was putting a strain on his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens but this week, she sat down with Newsweek and strongly denied the rumors as well as opened up about those closest to her.

The minute Newsweek brought up the Efron odor rumor, Hudgens jumped to her boyfriend's defense.  "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic," she told Newsweek.  She went on to promise the magazine, and his fans, that he cleans himself properly and regularly.  "He showers! He showers! Believe me, he does," she assured everyone.  Hudgens wouldn't talk about how she first started dating Efron, which is said to have happened during filming of the first High School Musical movie.  "I don't want to talk about it. It might hurt the relationship," she said. "That's something I have to myself."

Hudgens may not have been willing to open up about her relationship with Efron but she had no problem talking about her famous friends.  Last year, Hudgens became good friends with music sensation, The Jonas Brothers.  "They're great," she gushed. "I was friends with them before they even started to blow up." The brothers first met Hudgens after attending one of her shows in New Jersey in 2007.  She also reassured fans that she and co-star Ashley Tisdale are still very close and hang out all the time.  "When we're really bored, sometimes we'll make little music videos on her computer," she revealed.  For fans who hoped to catch a glimpse of these videos - no so luck!  "Oh, no. It's just us messing around in our hotel rooms," she laughed.
