Disney Officially Announces New 'High School Musical 3' Cast Members ... A Little Late

Disney sent out a pre-press release last week letting the media know that a big announcement was coming today regarding
High School Musical 3. Unfortunately for them, they were scooped a few days in advance and their big fanfare came to a screeching halt when fans said, “Uh yeah! We already knew that!” Disney has officially announced the addition of three new cast members to
High School Musical 3. BuddyTV introduced you to two of them already but read on for more details on the three newest students at East High.

For Jemma McKenzie-Brown, landing the part of Tiara in High School Musical 3 was a dream come true. It also marked the first time the actress had been to the states, as she is originally from England. “I was over the moon!” she told
Access Hollywood. The 13 year old actress beat out 600 other girls for the role. In the film, based on the footage shown on
Access Hollywood, Tiara seems to be a snobbish actress who will surely give Sharpay a run for her money.
“I’ve known Zac for a while and he’s a really cool guy. I’ve known Vanessa, too,” said Matt Prokop of his fellow cast members. “It’s such a fun group of people to be around and be working on this movie and being out there and being in it is just awesome!” Matt took
Access Hollywood through a typical rehearsal day for the film. “Today we danced, sang, acted, everything! It’s been really fun!”
He’s confident that he’s part of something that will be very big. “It’s High School Musical, it’s already made its mark so I know the movie’s gonna be really successful.” Prokop plays Jimmy “The Rocket” Soto, an athlete and actor at East High. He is unsuccessful with the opposite sex, and tries every cheesy move in the book to get Tiara to notice him.
“When I got the call, I was like, ‘For real?’” gushed Justin Martin. The young actor has a lot to be excited about. He appeared in Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway and also on several television shows in small roles. Now, he is thrust into the spotlight as Donny, an East High basketball player, in
High School Musical 3. Donny is Jimmy’s good friend who looks up to Chad in the movie.
High School Musical 3 is currently in the rehearsal phase and will start filming next month.
