On tonight's episode of
High School Musical: Get In The Picture, Anthony was frustrated with being placed in the chorus, only because he felt like he was there for the right reasons, which is more than he can say for others. Nick Lachey caught TJ doing an impression of him but he said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The chorus members are sent to acting class, to learn to connect better with one another. The remaining contestants head off to a karaoke party in the school gym, but they've never sang like this. They'll have to sing "Get'cha Head In The Game", not just in English, but in several other languages too!
Bailey went first and bombed several of the languages. Those who went later had an advantage of sorts, as they got to see the words and hear it more often than those who went early. No one was really able to master any of the languages but they gave it their best shot and learned, as Nick said, to roll with the punches. Afterwards, Shayne rubs people the wrong way when she talks up her training and background, while putting down other contestants, like Anthony. In homeroom, she is called out for her behavior and felt blindsided and attacked. Christie defends her and felt like Shayne was misunderstood.
The contestants find out that, this week, they'll have to all perform together as a group. They'll do two songs - one comedic, "It's All Been Done" by Barenaked Ladies and one dramatic, "Welcome To My Life" by Simple Plan. In order to connect as a group, the faculty has them look each other in the eyes and compliment them. Right after though, the guys have to act as if they broke their partner's heart and must win them back.
After the performances, Nick delivers the good and the bad news. The best performer of the night, according to the faculty, is Tierney. She reads off the names of the people moving on and they are: Christina, Isaiah, TJ, Stan, and James. That means that Bailey and Shayna are out of the competition and sent to the chorus.
What do you think of Shayna?
