On tonight’s episode of
High School Musical: Get In The Picture, the contestants learn to come out of their shells by completing uncomfortable tasks on the street. They have to get a hug from a stranger, get a stranger to look up in the sky, and get a stranger to give them some of their food. Meanwhile, Brianna and Christy stayed behind to work on some acting exercises with faculty member, Rob Adler. As the first members of the chorus, they need to be the ones to lay the foundation down since 11 other people will be joining them.
After the remaining contestants completed their tasks, they got their feedback from the faculty. Bailey was praised for being bubbly and outgoing but Ether took a little too long talking to each person. Back in homeroom, Nick told them that he was really happy that they put themselves out there. It’s good that they were able to connect with people since this week, they’ll have to sing duets for the faculty.
Anthony and TJ are paired up to sing “I Don’t Wanna Be” by Gavin DeGraw. Shayna and Stan are put together and will sing “Austin” by Blake Shelton. Christina and Isaiah are given “Boston” by Augustana to sing together. Ether and Tierney are put together for “One Year, Six Months” by Yellowcard. The last pair put together are James and Bailey, who will perform “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis. The faculty visit each pair, give them blocking, and help them feel more comfortable with their partners and their songs.
When their performances are done, it’s time for decisions to be made. Isaiah is named as the best performer of the day but now, he must read the names of the other people moving on. Those people are: Tierney, Stan, James, Bailey, Shayna, TJ, and Christina. That means that Ether and Anthony have been eliminated and are sent to the chorus.
