On tonight's episode of High School Musical: Get In The Picture, the 12 finalists head to homeroom at East High.  Host Nick Lachey shows up and tells them that they're going to need to learn to let go of what people think of them.  He takes them on a field trip to K-Mart, where they meet up with faculty member Jen Malenke.  She informs them that they need to sing "We're All In This Together" for unsuspecting customers in the store.  The catch is that they'll be the only ones who can hear the music so the people shopping around them really aren't going to know what hit them!  They each run around to the store, grabbing people and singing to them as they just try to run their errands.

Back at school, during lunch, the kids notice that Shayna and Stan are off on their own.  He calls her "uniquely good looking" and is happy to hear that she's single.  There's no time for flirting, though, because after eating, the contestants have to head back to homeroom.  Nick shows up, gives everyone Verizon phones, and tells them that that's how they'll be getting their music all season.  He also lets them know that they'll be split into 4 groups of 3 and will have to perform pop songs for their next challenge.

While everyone practices, the faculty checks in on them and offers their opinions and advice.  Montre and Regina tell Ether that he needs to let go more and not be so self conscious.  Not all of the students are able to click with each other and work well together.  Christina and Briana were not happy when they felt like they were TJ's background singers.  Stan struggles with picking up harmonies as well as Tierney and Isaiah do.  Anthony's group is challenged when they are handed a song that none of them have ever heard of.

After each group performs, the faculty talks things over and posts a cast list of the people who will be moving forward.  After waiting for what seemed like forever, Nick returned with the names of the people who were advancing.  Tierney is named as the student who did the best job in the performance challenge.  She is given the cast list and must read it.  The names on the list are: Stan, Bailey, TJ, Christina, James, Shayna, Isaiah, Ether, and Anthony.

Christie and Briana are moving into the chorus and will not longer compete for the grand prize.
